The people behind Altruistic Hospice Care
We started this practice because families deserve a hospice team that shows up in person, treats them like family, and never makes an already hard time harder. Here's who we are and what we believe.
Care that comes to you, on purpose
Altruistic Hospice Care was built around a simple idea: the best care for someone nearing the end of life happens wherever they already are — not in a facility they have to be transported to, but at home, or in the care community they already know.
We're based in Granada Hills and travel throughout the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles area, bringing a small, attentive team into homes and facilities rather than asking families to come to us. That choice shapes everything about how we work — smaller caseloads, real relationships, and a team that's reachable any hour of the day.
The values behind how we care
Dignity first
Every decision starts with what preserves comfort and dignity for the patient, not what's easiest for us to schedule.
We come to you
Home or facility, our team travels — because families dealing with a terminal diagnosis shouldn't have one more trip to plan.
Care for the whole family
Caregivers need support too. We check in on the people caring for the patient, not just the patient.
Reachable, always
A member of our team is one phone call away at 3am just as much as 3pm.
Honest, plain communication
We explain what's happening in real terms, so families can make informed decisions without guessing.
Every faith, every family
Spiritual and emotional support that meets people where they are — any faith, or none at all.
A small team you'll actually get to know
Our care team spans every discipline a family may need, coordinated as one team around each patient.
