Established in 2013, Altruistic Hospice, Inc. is a California-based Hospice Care provider. We provide our services to terminally ill patients with a wide range of diagnosis. In keeping with the hospice concept, Altruistic Hospice, Inc. provides intensive treatment of symptoms. The palliative care focuses on enhancing the patient’s comfort and overall quality of life and is provided in the patient’s home or place of residence.

Our Caregiving Team
Attending Physician
Certifies the patient has a terminal illness and remains the patient’s primary physician and works as a member of the hospice team.
Medical Director
Certifies the attending physician’s prognosis; Leads the hospice team in developing a plan of care; provides consultation to the attending physician.
Skilled Nurses (RNs and LVNs)
Evaluates the patient’s condition during regularly scheduled visits. The Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates the plan of care and teaches the family proper patient care techniques and the use of medication and pain management.
Social Worker
Assess social needs of the patient and family and provides psychological and bereavement counseling.
